Dogtag ID Text Examples

You can have up to 6 lines of text on your ID, with up to 24 characters per line (incl spaces). We recommend you obviously put as much information as possible on your ID, while also ensuring that it remains legible.
In priority order, we recommend the following text:

Name: First & Surnames – obvious really, but try to ensure it is name as known by, only use nicknames if space available. You could also add middle name(s) or initial(s).

Contacts: Try and put 2 names and numbers, in case one cannot be contacted. Think about the best person to contact in case of accident and the best number with which to contact them on – this may be a home phone number or a mobile phone number. Don’t forget any prefixes for phone numbers.

Medical: Is there anything that the people treating you should know?? Allergies/Conditions etc. Remember you may not be able to speak for yourself, and your outdoorID will have to do it for you.

Address: Try and put your full address, but we understand that this may take up a lot of space, so put as much information as you can.

Blood Type: Especially important if you have a rarer Blood Type

Available Space: Feel free to add any other slogans, quotes etc, that you may live by or inspire you!
